COURSE DESCRIPTION
The call from the deep. There’s something mysterious and exciting when you scuba dive to explore deeper dive sites. While on most dive sites there is no particular reason to go deeper, there are some places where it might be worth it, for example to explore a particular wreck, or some special reef formation like a canyon, or some unique form of marine life like a giant sea fan or sponge. Whatever the reason is, in order to get confident in diving to depths up to 40 meters/130 feet you should do the PADI Deep Diver Specialty course. In order to enroll in the Deep Diver Specialty Course you must be at least 15 years old and be at least certified as PADI Adventure Diver.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN DURING THE DEEP DIVER COURSE?
You will start your training by understanding the reasons for deep diving and how important it is to be aware of your personal limits. You will do four deep dives with your instructor, covering the following aspects:
- Specialized equipment required for deep diving
- Planning a deep dive, buoyancy control and buddy contact procedures
- Gas supply management, how to deal with gas narcosis and safety considerations

COURSE PREREQUISITES:
MINIMUM 15 YEARS OF AGE
The minimum age required to do a PADI Deep Diver Course is 15 years
BE AT LEAST ADVENTURE DIVER CERTIFIED
In order to do the PADI Deep Diver course you need to be already certified as an Adventure Diver, having completed at least 3 different Adventure Dives.
HEALTH CONDITION
Before stating the Deep Diver course you will be requested to fill a Scuba Diving Medical Questionnaire with a list of medical conditions that may not be compatible with diving. Having any of such conditions doesn’t mean that you will not be able to dive, but you will have to seek specific advice from a doctor before starting any scuba diving activity.

Below you will find all the prices for the PADI Deep Diver course options we offer. The course price per person varies depending on how many people you are. All the courses we offer are with PRIVATE instructor, so you will not have to share the instructor with a stranger or a big group. However, if you are a family or a group who wishes to do the course together, you will share the cost of the instructor and the price per person will decrease as described below.
